CFISA Cybersecurity Training Re-certified by Texas DIR for 2026 – Six Years of Trusted Certification.

The Center for Information Security Awareness (CFISA) is proud to announce that our Security Awareness Training Level II program has once again been certified by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) for the upcoming year.

This marks six consecutive years of certification, reaffirming CFISA’s commitment to providing trusted, high-quality cybersecurity training solutions to state and local government employees.

In a letter dated July 2025, the Texas DIR confirmed that CFISA’s training program “meets the required criteria” as outlined in Section 2054.519 of the Texas Government Code, which mandates certified cybersecurity training for public sector employees.

It is hereby certified for state and local government employees. The certification is valid from September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.”

This certification allows Texas state and local government organizations to continue using CFISA’s Security Awareness Training Level II program to comply with annual training requirements.
